I Became a Level -99 Vicious Lord - Chapter 26-2
With the arrival of three heroes, the Kingdom of Lota began to change rapidly.
“Everything is a mess! There’s not a decent person in sight! And the finances are a mess too! The administration is a disaster! How have you been handling things all this time? These useless fools!”
Wazir transformed into a terrifying demon king as soon as he began to manage the government and began to bully the administrative bureaucrats.
“Hmm! It’s a nice day to watch people suffer! Good! Starting now, everyone here will run until you vomit! Enforce!”
Spooner started running his hellish training program to modify the soldiers of the Kingdom of Lota into human weapons.
“How long are you going to sleep in? Get up right now, you idiot!”
Olive, as head maid, gradually modified Prince Otto’s trashy habits.
As a result, the Kingdom of Lota began to thrive.
Even the embarrassingly rural villages began to take shape.
But the more the kingdom thrived, the weaker Otto became.
As January 1st approached, the curse of being a ‘Wr*nched B**tard’ became increasingly severe, and his health deteriorated rapidly.
“Taking an old retiree and putting them in a seat while you leave for the afterlife first? Have you ever seen such an outrageous person?”
“Please restrain yourself, Your Highness.”
Camille interrupted the enraged Wazir.
“They say geniuses die young, but is he one of them?”
“No. He’s like that but It’s because he’s under a curse.”
“There are reasons for it. It’s a problem that will soon be resolved, so don’t worry.”
“Is that so? Hm… Well then…”
As Worried as Wazir was, Otto was in very poor condition. He couldn’t even walk properly due to weakness in his legs.
He experienced heart failure once a day, and his skin was pale with chapped lips due to poor blood circulation.
He looked like a terminally ill patient to anyone who saw him…
“How are you feeling? Are you okay?” Camille asked Otto, who was sitting in a wheelchair and looking out the window.
“Look at that tree.” Otto pointed outside to a beautiful Adirondack tree.
“There are only a few leaves left.”
“Isn’t that obvious since it’s winter?”
“When those leaves fall off…I’ll die too.”
“huh…?” Camille furrowed his eyebrows as if he didn’t understand what he meant.
“I want to live like those leaves born in the spring, living through the summer….”
Suddenly, a strong wind blew and the leaves that were barely clinging to the tree fell off with a swoosh!
Otto was left speechless and embarrassed after making such a remark.
“Are you really going to die… ?”
At that moment,
“Argh!” Otto suddenly grabbed his chest in agony as he suffered from a sudden heart attack.
As Camille hurriedly tried to lay Otto down and perform CPR,
“Who’s trying to die on their own? Move aside!!”
Olive came rushing in like a brake-failed locomotive and pounced on Otto.
Then, using just the palm of her hand, she attempted to perform CPR by pressing down on Otto’s chest.
“Pull yourself together! Quickly!”
“I won’t let you die!”
“Cough… cough… my, my ribs… my ribs are broken… ugh!”
Next, Olive brought her lips to Otto’s in order to perform an artificial respiration.
Despite his best efforts, Otto was unable to avoid Olive’s artificial respiration.
Having suffered a heart attack, he lost consciousness as his brain was deprived of oxygen.
“…Why do you have to say such nonsense?”
As Camille watched Olive perform artificial respiration on Otto, he let out a deep sigh and shook his head.
That damn mouth of his.
His mouth is the problem, really.
“Perhaps it’s a good thing that he’s lost consciousness….”
Camille muttered to himself and left Olive in charge of Otto before leaving the room.
Time passed, and before he knew it, January 1st was only three days away.
Camille was in a hurry and went to find Otto.
He was worried because Otto had told him he would die on January 1st.
But Otto didn’t seem to care much about his impending death.
“What are you doing now?” Camille asked Otto.
“Can’t you see? I’m putting on makeup,” Otto replied, sitting in front of the mirror, receiving makeup from Olive.
“Why are you putting on makeup all of a sudden? Are you going to dress up like a flower? you are about to die soon.”
Normally, Camille would just brush it off, thinking that Otto had a plan.
But seeing a sick person, someone who would die in three days, putting on makeup and dressing up like a flower, it was enough to make his stomach turn.
“Are you preparing to go into a coffin?”
“No, why would I? This is also part of the plan.”
“Is dressing up like a flower part of the plan?”
“Yes, it is.”
“What exactly are you trying to do?”
“As a weak, sickly young man concept.”
Camille gave up trying to figure it out.
He couldn’t even guess what kind of sinister plan he was plotting.
