I Became a Level -99 Vicious Lord - Chapter 27-2
The Evil Witch Angela was a villain that one would naturally encounter while playing the game, so there was no need to deliberately seek her out.
Angela had appeared three days before Otto’s death from the curse of ‘Wrenched B**tard’ curse and had been lurking nearby.
She wanted to witness the child whom she had cursed die.
Assuming that the player survives until three days before January 1st of the following year, when the game begins.
‘Now it’s going to be easy.’
Otto approached Angeles with a triumphant smile on his face.
“May I buy a rose?”
“EH? O-of course.”
Angela was caught off guard, as if she didn’t know that Otto was approaching.
“You must be freezing. Lady.”
“No need for concern….”
“Please take this.”
Otto handed over the gloves he was wearing to Angela.
“Why did you suddenly take off your gloves?”
“These beautiful hands.” Otto subtly held Angela’s hand and said, “It’s freezing. You could get frostbite wandering around outside without gloves during such a cold winter.”
“This is my gift to you. Please accept it.”
Angela seemed slightly moved by Otto’s sweetness.
Otto was almost going crazy with his own corny and cringe-worthy lines, but he endured it and continued with his work (?).
Even though the lines were quite bad and cheesy, it didn’t matter.
‘If you just flirt with her, it’s a done deal. Hehe.’
Otto knew Angela’ tastes and behavioral patterns very well.
‘She’s a serious romantic and a gold digger. She falls in love in less than a second.’
Because he knew this too well, Otto was able to throw out an endless stream of cringe-worthy lines.
“How… Can I repay you?”
“I don’t need anything. Giving you the gloves is simply my favor…*Cough* *Cough*” Right at that movement.
Otto suddenly vomited blood while speaking.
Angela supported Otto.
“Are you okay?”
“I’m…I’m fine. *Cough* !”
“Really…life is terrible.”
Otto wiped the blood off and said in a weak voice, “I finally met my ideal type woman that I’ve been dreaming of all my life today…”
“Argh! I guess… I won’t live much longer… *Sob*!”
After saying that, Otto collapsed onto the snowy ground.
“Are you okay, Your Majesty!”
Camille and the knights rushed over and lifted Otto up.
“Hurry, let’s take His Majesty to the palace and Immediately call the doctors!” Camille shouted.
“Excuse me ser Knight, may I accompany you if it’s not too much trouble?”
Angela approached Camille and asked.
The only thing on Angela’ mind was what Otto said before he fainted.
‘I finally met my ideal type woman that I’ve been dreaming of all my life today…’
“Why would you want to accompanying us?”
“I’m a daughter of an herbalist living in the western forest, so I have extensive knowledge of herbs. It seems like His Majesty isn’t feeling well, so I would like to check on His Majesty’ condition.”
“Has His Majesty been experiencing frequent heart attacks or fainted or vomiting blood lately?”
Camille made a surprised expression – of course it was acting. and said, “T-that right.”
“It’s a disease that I know well. His life is in danger right now. If it continues like this, the disease will get worse, and he won’t last more than a week.”
“A-are you serious?”
“I know how to heal His Majesty. So please, allow me to accompany you.”
Camille allowed Angela to accompany them, with a expression on his face, as if he was willing to do anything to cure Otto.
‘It’s going well.’
Pretending to be unconscious, Otto listened in on the conversation between Camille and Angela and chuckled inwardly.
After being transferred to the palace, Otto received care from Angela.
“Where am I…?”
“Are you awake now?”
Angela approached Otto and spoke to him.
Of course, he had only pretended to faint and had actually just taken a nap….
“You are the one who was selling roses on the street earlier….”
“Why are you here….”
Angela explained to Otto why she had accompanied him to the palace.
“Is that really true? Can I live?”
“It’s an incurable disease, but there is still some hope.”
“Please, I beg you.”
Otto grabbed Angela’ hand tightly and spoke.
“I want to live.”
“Do you have a lot of attachment to life?”
“Not attachment, but…I feel too regretful. It’s embarrassing to say this, but I fell in love with you at first sight.”
“I don’t care If I’m not cured. I just want to be with you as long as I live.”
Otto looked at Angela and spoke.
“Can you please stay by side for just a few days?”
Angela turned her head slightly, feeling embarrassed, and accepted Otto’s request.
Her face was flushed with embarrassment.
Meanwhile, Otto thought to himself…
‘Eww! Look at this crazy old hag. She has no conscience, none at all. She’s like a monster who’s not worth her age.’
To Otto, who knew Angela’ true form all too well, even her embarrassed expression was disgustingly repulsive.
